Heirloom Archiving LLC
Hi, I’m Gina and I’m the one-woman show behind Heirloom Archiving LLC. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons College in 2018 and I have worked in professional repositories, such as the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center and the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
The inspiration to start this business came after helping my parents as they downsized from the home they had lived in for 25 years. Going through decades of photos, home videos, and keepsakes revealed some had become damaged over time. I realized that I could use my archivist skills to prevent any more losses and properly preserve what we kept. Digitizing them made them easily shareable with family and friends, who now had their own copy as well.
As unique as our individual stories are, the desire to safeguard those memories is a common impulse for most of us. In offering my skills and expertise, I want to ensure others can also protect and preserve their treasures.

Our Mission
At Heirloom Archiving, I believe in providing customized care to protect and preserve the items representing your unique history. That history may be told through photographs, home videos, personal collections, and treasured heirlooms; whatever their format, I work with you to determine the best course of action to make sure these items remain secure and accessible to your and future generations.
